Server Rules

To maintain a level playing field across all characters, the following actions will result in an immediate ban.

• Hacks & Client Modifications: Using, distributing, or advocating for third-party programs, modified clients, memory editing, or scripts that grant an unfair advantage.
• Automation & Botting: Employing macros, hardware, or software designed to automate gameplay actions, movement, or farming while away from your keyboard.
• Multiboxing & Input Synchronization: Operating multiple accounts simultaneously using software or hardware tools that mirror or send inputs across multiple game clients.

• Gains & Stats Exploitation: Deliberately abusing map bugs, broken mechanics, item stacking glitches, or unintended stat scaling to obtain gold, gear, honor, or achievements outside normal boundaries.

• Real-Currency Transactions: Buying, selling, or soliciting gold, rare gear, characters, or accounts for real-world money or third-party currencies.

Given the design of LunaticPTR, character progression must remain organic:

• GDKP Runs: Organizing or participating in raids, dungeons, or group events where loot distribution is tied to gold bidding or financial compensation.

Multiboxing involves running several WoW clients at the same time, whether manually toggling between windows or using external software. This includes running multiple clients on one machine or across several computers.

On Redwall Keep, multiboxing is permitted only under the following conditions:

• Automation Ban: You may not use any third-party software, hardware, or methods to sync keystrokes or automate actions across characters.
• Zone Limits: A maximum of 2 multiboxed accounts is allowed per zone. This restriction does not apply inside Capital Cities or Redwall Keep.
• PvP Restrictions: Multiboxing is strictly forbidden in any zone if even one of your characters is flagged for PvP (including Warmode), regardless of whether you are actively fighting.
• Battlegrounds & Group Finder: You cannot multibox inside any battleground or within LFT groups.
• Summoning Exception: You are permitted to use up to 3 accounts/characters simultaneously anywhere in the world solely for the purpose of casting Summoning Rituals.
• Compliance: Multiboxing is allowed globally as long as none of the above boundaries are crossed. Characters caught breaking these rules face account locks.

Player vs. Player combat is a core element of the MMO experience, but classic Vanilla PvP can be intimidating for newcomers. Our regulations aim to curb toxicity, protect fair play, and make the battleground accessible to everyone.

Unfair Play (strictly prohibited)

• Win-Trading: Intentionally throwing matches or orchestrating fixed outcomes to manipulate ranks or rewards.
• Open-World Collusion: Allowing an opposing player to repeatedly kill your character in the open world to inflate their honor kills.
• Cross-Faction Betrayal: Directly assisting, healing, or supporting a PvP-flagged member of the opposing faction who is currently engaged in combat with members of your own faction.

False Enlistment (prohibited)

• Queue Manipulation: Logging into multiple accounts to queue for both factions simultaneously, then abandoning the match or declining the invite to manipulate team numbers.
• Battleground Inactivity: Going AFK or staying idle during a battleground match.
• Passive Honor Farming: Moving just enough to dodge the automatic AFK kicker without actually participating in the battleground's objectives or combat.
• Safespotting: Engaging in PvP from locations that cannot be accessed through standard walking or basic jumping. If a position requires spells, consumables, wall-climbing, or map exploits to reach, it is considered safespotting.

Griefing is the deliberate disruption of another player's experience outside the bounds of normal gameplay. To keep the server welcoming for all playstyles, we prohibit the following actions:

• NPC Camping: Explicitly targeting quest givers, flight masters, or vital quest objectives for extended periods to block others from progressing.
• Mob Tagging Harassment: Stalking a specific player to deliberately tag and steal the credit for monsters they need for their objectives.
• Spell Trapping: Intentionally pulling or kiting groups of monsters into another player's area-of-effect (AoE) spells to cause their death.
• Quest Sabotage: Interfering with players attempting to complete high-stakes quests.

On this server, your word is a binding contract. Players must honor all agreed-upon transactions honestly and promptly.

• Fraud: Agreeing to a trade or craft only to run off with materials, or attempting to extort a higher price after an agreement, is considered scamming and will result in penalties.
• Loot Integrity: Group master-loot agreements must be honored for the entirety of a dungeon or raid run. For LFT groups, standard Group Loot is considered the default binding agreement.
• Gambling Restrictions: All player-run casinos and gambling activities must be restricted to Blackwater Cartel zones (Booty Bay, Everlook, Gadgetzan, and Ratchet). Advertising these services outside these zones is prohibited.

While not mandatory, we highly encourage roleplay-appropriate names to preserve the fantasy setting. The following naming conventions are banned:

• Names referencing real-world politicians, religious figures, or prominent social activists.
• Names loaded with political, religious, or highly divisive real-world meanings.
• Names promoting hate speech, bigotry, sexism, or racism.
• Vulgar, crude, or overtly sexual names.
• Guild names that incorporate real-world countries or nationalities.

To keep our global community healthy, we moderate public chat channels closely. We want players to escape real-world stressors and enjoy Azeroth in a safe environment. The following are banned:

• Explicitly vulgar, crude, or sexual discussions.
• Debating real-world politics, religion, or controversial public figures. Keep your political discussions strictly contained to the lore of Azeroth!
• Promoting hate speech, discrimination, homophobia, sexism, violence, or doxxing.
• Harassing or insulting individual players or targeted communities/guilds.
• Impersonating other community members or members of the staff team.
• Altering message text away from standard default chat colors.
• Sharing links to cheats, malicious phishing websites, or explicit content.
• Using alternate characters to bypass another player's /ignore block.
• Speaking non-English languages in global public channels (with the sole exception of guild recruitment ads).
• Spamming a player's mailbox to disrupt their gameplay.

Because Redwall Keep is an RPPvE realm, we provide additional protections for our roleplaying community. The following actions are prohibited:

• Deliberately interrupting ongoing roleplay events or stories.
• Acting in bad faith to mock or troll active RP scenarios.
• Using custom RP profiles to distribute hate speech, extreme views, or to harass fellow roleplayers.
• Displaying adult (NSFW) content on an RP profile that hasn't been explicitly flagged with the appropriate mature content warning.

Note: Getting killed while flagged for PvP in an RP area is standard gameplay, not griefing.
